Arum Marble Table Lamp
by korewolamp
The Arum Natural Stone Table Lamp: natural stone below, a shade that tilts above.
The Arum table lamp sets a slender arched arm and a tilting metal shade on a solid base of natural black marble or travertine. The stone gives the lamp its character and keeps the weight low, so the shade can hang out over the table while the lamp stays firmly in place.
It is a lamp built around balance. A slim aluminum arc rises from the stone and bends forward, so the cone shade seems to hover above the table with nothing underneath it — a quiet, sculptural shape that looks as good switched off as it does lit.
Tilt the shade down and it becomes a focused reading light for a nightstand or desk; tilt it up and it washes the room in soft, indirect light. A 59″ (150 cm) cord with an in-line switch and a plug for your country means it is ready to plug in wherever you need it.
Choose black marble for a graphic, high-contrast look in modern rooms, or travertine for warm, textured calm in Japandi and organic interiors. Because every base is cut from natural stone, the pattern on yours is one of a kind.

Three reasons it earns its place
A table lamp sits in view all day, lit or not. This one is designed to look like a small sculpture, stay put where you set it, and give you exactly the light you need.
01
Real stone, two ways
Choose black marble for crisp contrast or travertine for a warm, textured look. Either way, the base is natural stone and no two are alike.
- Solid black marble or travertine
- Veining and pores unique to your base
- Cool, dense and substantial to the touch
02
Steady by design
The heavy stone base counterweights the arched arm, so the shade reaches out over the table without tipping the lamp.
- Weight kept low, in the stone
- Light aluminum arm and shade above
- Flat base that sits evenly on the table
03
Light that follows you
Tilt the shade down for a focused reading pool or up for a soft ambient glow, and switch it on from the cord.
- Tilts up for a wide, soft glow
- Tilts down for reading and desk work
- Switch on the cord, within easy reach

A closer look, part by part
Five simple parts, each doing a clear job. Here is what you are bringing home.
-
A

Aluminum, shaped to push light downward and tilt up or down on the arm.
-
B
Arched arm
A slim aluminum arc that carries the shade out over the table.
-
C
E14 socket
Tucked inside the shade; a warm LED bulb is recommended.
-
D
Stone base
Solid black marble or travertine with a rounded top and a flat, steady bottom.

Marble or Travertine
Both bases are cut from real stone, so each one carries its own pattern. Choose the one that suits your room.
Stone oneBlack Marble
Comes with the Black finish
- Deep black stone with subtle, natural veining
- Smooth, dense surface that feels cool to the touch
- Crisp contrast against pale walls and light wood
Stone twoTravertine
Comes with the warm beige finish
- Sand and cream tones with soft natural banding
- Characteristic small pores that give it texture
- A relaxed look for linen, oak and plaster rooms
No two bases are the same
Marble and travertine form slowly in the earth. Minerals, water and pressure leave their own marks in every block, so each base cut from that stone carries a pattern found nowhere else.
-
Veining runs its own way
Lines and clouds in the marble follow the stone, never a print, so they never repeat.
-
Pores and soft banding
Travertine builds up in layers around mineral springs, leaving small natural pores and gentle bands.
-
Tone varies by piece
One base may read a little lighter or warmer than the next, and than the photos.
| Black marble | Travertine | |
|---|---|---|
| Color | Deep black, subtle veining | Warm beige, soft banding |
| Surface | Smooth and dense | Natural pores and pits |
| Room style | Modern, high contrast | Warm, natural, organic |
| Care | pH-neutral cleaner, no acids | pH-neutral cleaner, brush dust from pores |
Proof it is realVeining, pores and small color shifts are natural features of the stone, not defects. Your base will differ slightly from the photos, and that is exactly the point.
Built to Stay Put
A shade that reaches out needs its weight in the right place. Here, the stone does that job.
-
Heavy stone base
Most of the lamp's weight sits low, in solid marble or travertine.
-
Flat stone bottom
The base sits evenly on the tabletop without rocking.
-
Light arm and shade
The aluminum parts above weigh little, so reaching out does not pull the lamp over.
-
Balance over the base
The combined weight stays above the stone, so a bumped table does not topple it.
- Use a level surfaceA flat nightstand, sideboard or desk keeps the base seated.
- Keep the base on the tableNever let the stone hang over an edge.
- Leave slack in the cordA tight cord across a walkway can drag any lamp down.
Tilt it up, tilt it down
The shade moves up and down on the end of the arm, so one lamp gives you three kinds of light: a reading pool, an even glow, or a soft wash across the room.
-
One lamp, three lightsReading, accent and ambient in a single fixture.
-
Adjusts by handNo tools or knobs; simply move the shade.
-
Stays where you set itThe shade holds its angle once positioned.
How to adjust: hold the shade by its outer edge and move it gently. Let the bulb cool first.
A wide, soft spread that fills the living room with ambient light.
Even light across a sideboard, console or dining table.
A focused pool for reading in bed or working at the desk.
Will it fit your table?
At 19.7″ (50 cm) tall, the lamp is sized for everyday surfaces. Here is how it sits on three of them.
-
Bedside
A nightstand close to mattress height, around 21.5–25.5″ (55–65 cm), keeps the light on your book rather than in your eyes.
-
Desk
On a standard 29.5″ (75 cm) desk, tilt the shade down so the bulb stays out of your line of sight while you work.
-
Console
On a 31.5″ (80 cm) console or sideboard, the lamp reads as a sculptural accent as you walk past.
Leave about 13.4″ (34 cm) of clear surface for the arm and shade.
Choosing the Right Bulb
The bulb sits close under the shade, so it sets the mood of the whole lamp. Here is what to choose, and how to dim it.
| Where you use it | Color temperature | Brightness | Shade position |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bedside reading | 2700K warm white | About 450 lumens | Tilted down |
| Living room glow | 2700K warm white | 250–450 lumens | Tilted up |
| Sideboard accent | 2700K warm white | 250–350 lumens | Level |
| Desk work | 3000K soft white | 450–800 lumens | Tilted down |
-
E12 or E14 base
Slightly wider than the US E12 base, so search for “E14 LED bulb” when buying a spare.
-
Choose LED
LED stays far cooler than halogen, which matters under a close-fitting shade.
-
On/off switch
The cord switch turns the lamp on and off only; see the dimming options below.
Want to dim it?
The cord switch is on/off only. For adjustable brightness, pick one of these three set-ups.
-
Simplest
Plug-in lamp dimmer
Plug an LED-rated lamp dimmer into the outlet, plug the lamp into it, and fit a dimmable E14 LED bulb.
-
Smart home
E12 or E14 smart bulb
Dim from an app or voice assistant, and leave the cord switch on so the bulb always has power.
-
Made to order
Dimmer cord on request
Ask us before your lamp ships about fitting a cord with an in-line dimmer switch.
- Always use a bulb marked “dimmable” with any dimmer. Non-dimmable LEDs can flicker, buzz or fail early.
A Cord That Reaches
Every lamp is wired and ready to plug in, with a switch you can reach without touching the shade.
-
Switch on the cord
Turn the lamp on and off without reaching under the shade.
-
Longer on request

Keeping the stone looking new
Marble and travertine need very little from you. A soft cloth does most of the work, as long as acids stay away from the surface.
-
Weekly
Dust it
Wipe the base and shade with a soft dry cloth. On travertine, a soft brush lifts dust from the pores.
-
After a spill
Wipe and dry
Blot straight away with a damp cloth, then dry the stone so no ring is left behind.
-
Now and then
Deeper clean
Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Switch off and unplug before cleaning the shade.
-
Never
Acids or abrasives
Vinegar, lemon, bleach and scouring pads can etch or dull natural stone.
Good to knowBoth stones are calcite-based, so a coaster under drinks and perfume keeps the surface free of marks.
The light you come home to
The room is still dark when you walk in. A click on the cord, and a small pool of warm light spreads across the desk: the day’s mail, an open notebook, the cool stone at the lamp’s foot.
The house feels lived in again, and the lamp spends the evening moving its light to wherever you need it next.
-
6 pm
Coming home
One click on the cord and warm light lands on the desk as you drop your keys.
-
8 pm
Dinner winds down
Tilt the shade up and the whole room settles into a soft, low glow.
-
10 pm
One more chapter
Tilt it down onto the page while the rest of the room stays dim.
-
11 pm
Lights out
Switch off from the cord without reaching under the shade.
The same design, room to room
The table lamp has two siblings with the same slender arm, cone shade and stone details. Use them together and the look carries quietly from one room to the next.
Ways to pair them
Three simple combinations that work in most homes.
-
Living roomFloor lamp beside the reading chair, table lamp on the console.
-
BedroomA pair of swivel wall lamps above the nightstands to free up the surface.
-
Home officeTable lamp on the desk for tasks, floor lamp in the corner for evening glow.
Start with one piece and add the others later; each is sold separately.Mix and match
Arum Floor Lamp

Before You Order
The stone, the shade and the cord, answered in a line or two.
01Is the base real stone?
Yes. It is natural black marble or natural travertine, so every base has its own pattern.
02Which stone comes with which finish?
Black marble comes with the black finish, and travertine comes with the warm beige finish.
03Will it tip over with the shade reaching out?
No. The heavy stone base counterbalances the arm, so the lamp stays steady on a flat surface.
04Can I move the shade up and down?
Yes. Hold the shade by its edge and tilt it gently up or down to where you want the light.
05How long is the cord?
It is 59″ (150 cm) with a plug and an in-line switch. Longer cords are available on request before the lamp ships.
06What bulb does it take?
An E14 base bulb. A warm white LED around 2700K gives the softest light.
07Can I dim the light?
Not with the standard switch. Use a dimmable E14 bulb with a plug-in dimmer, or an E14 smart bulb.
08Will it work with US outlets?
Yes. Choose the US plug option; the lamp runs on 110–240V.
09Are pores in the travertine a defect?
No. Small pores are a natural feature of travertine and part of its texture.
10How do I clean the stone?
Wipe it with a soft dry cloth and use only pH-neutral cleaners. Avoid vinegar, lemon and bleach.
11Will it fit my nightstand?
It suits most nightstands; a table close to mattress height puts the light right on your book.
12Is there a matching floor or wall lamp?
Yes. The same design comes as a floor lamp and a swivel wall lamp, linked above.
13Can I customize the finish or size?
Yes. Email us the SKU and your request, and we will reply with a quote within 1–2 business days.
