Sibillino Curved Open End Sofa

Design by E-ggs

The Sibillino Open-End Curved Sofa is a contemporary upholstered sofa defined by its soft curves, asymmetrical form, and distinctive open-ended design. Its sculptural silhouette offers a more fluid alternative to conventional sofas, combining generous comfort with a visually light and dynamic profile.

A gently wrapping upholstered back follows the curve of the seat while opening gracefully at one end. This open configuration gives the sofa a relaxed, welcoming character and makes it especially effective in spaces where furniture helps guide movement and shape informal gathering areas.

The rounded seat and softly tailored upholstery create an inviting sense of comfort, while the clean outer profile gives Sibillino a refined architectural presence. The contrast between its supportive structure and soft, organic geometry makes the design equally suited to expressive hospitality interiors and sophisticated workplace or residential environments.

The open-end configuration works particularly well in hotel lobbies, reception areas, hospitality lounges, collaborative offices, waiting spaces, executive lounges, residential living areas, and other open-plan interiors. Its asymmetrical shape allows designers to create more flexible layouts while maintaining a strong visual identity.

With its combination of organic modern styling, sculptural curves, open-ended geometry, and fully upholstered comfort, the Sibillino Open-End Curved Sofa brings both functionality and personality to contemporary spaces.

Technical specifications Internal wooden frame with elastic straps for the seat. The frame, wooden backrest, and armrest supports are wrapped in non-deforming polyurethane foam of varying densities. Polypropylene feet support the product.

Sibillino Collection

Sibillino reinterprets the designer lounge chair with a contemporary approach, where comfort, visual identity and formal quality come together naturally. Designed by E-ggs, the collection stands out for its enveloping, organic design, conceived to strike a balance between cosiness, adaptability and a striking presence within the space.

The clean lines of the frame interact with the rounded silhouette of the seat, whilst the stitching detail running along the outer shell emphasises the precision of the profile. This graphic feature creates a refined contrast with the generous internal padding, highlighting the seat’s soft and welcoming character. The shell-like structure is not merely an aesthetic choice, but becomes a design element that suggests intimacy and concentration, inviting moments of pause and conversation.

Designed for lounge areas, contemporary living spaces and hospitality environments, Sibillino brings a minimalist yet distinctive design language to interiors. The seats appear as compact, unified forms, conceived not merely as functional objects but as sculptural elements capable of defining the atmosphere of a space.

The sinuous and understated form generates fluid and natural compositions, creating social landscapes within contemporary offices, waiting areas or shared spaces. Thanks to its soft and magnetic identity, Sibillino helps to create welcoming and dynamic environments, where design, comfort and modularity interact in perfect balance.
