Alek Lounge Chair
Alek Lounge Chair
By Alp Nuhoglu Manufactured by B&TThe Alek Lounge by B&T Design Studio is a refined wood lounge chair that brings together sculptural simplicity, natural warmth, and everyday comfort. Designed by Alp Nuhoğlu in 2020, the piece is defined by its distinctive oval-shaped wooden frame, creating a clean silhouette that feels both contemporary and timeless. Its armrests and backrest are formed as a single continuous structure, while the cylindrical wooden legs extend diagonally from the armrest level to the floor, adding a subtle architectural contrast to the soft, rounded shape of the back.
The warmth of wood plays a central role in the chair’s character, paired with a smooth cushioned seat that enhances the feeling of comfort. The Alek Lounge frame is available in solid ash wood finishes from B&T Design’s catalogue, while the seat can be customised in a wide range of fabric options, colours, and textures to suit different interior styles.
